Our stories define who we are and what we do. Let’s get to know each other. Here’s
I’m one of those high-achieving, organized, analytical types. And whether those types annoy you or are you, these traits served me well over two+ decades as an investment executive.
But there was this whole other side of me I rarely spoke about…
Being raised by a single mom who began college when I was in grade school
My love of creative writing and sharing the untold story (I considered pursuing journalism but instead studied math)
Traveling to off-the-grid locales in my 20s simply because it was cheaper than Hawaii or Paris (and continuing when I learned how little I knew of the world)
By my mid-40s, I had the success I had always dreamed about—education, family, career. Check, check, check!
But sometimes, it felt like leading a double life.
I left my lucrative job and redefined what success meant to me. I thought about what I want to be known for—my impact—and how to invest my gifts towards it. I jumped into curiosity and action mode.
I’ve been here ever since—Connecting. Learning. Traveling. Writing. Advocating. Finding new impactful ways to invest my money.
Guiding fellow high-achieving seekers—like you—on ventures to redefine your success and impact.
Let's Venture weaves together intentional travel, financial independence, and personal growth. I’m here as your guide—for whenever that pivotal moment strikes when you are ready to step beyond the familiar to get back to who you truly are—without sacrificing stability, while being authentically you.
You can care deeply about many things—your family, building wealth and making meaningful connections across cultures. I call that success.

Love this! And what a great typewriter. I love slow travel when you stay in one place for months and get to know the native community and an expat community. There's so much to be learned from how people live together like that and the eccentric, visionary people who choose to live like that.
I love intentional travel, money, and personal growth. Can't wait to see what you do with this Substack!
